Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies above, Don't fence me in. Let me ride through the wide open country that I love, Don't fence me in. Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze, And listen to the murmur of the cotton wood trees, Send me off forever but I ask you please, Don't fence me in. Just turn me loose, let me straddle my old saddle Underneath the western skies, On my Cayuse, let me wander over yonder, Till I see the mountains rise. I want to ride to the ridge where the west commences, And gaze at the moon till I lose my scenes. And I can't look at hovels and I can't stand fences, Don't fence me in. Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies Don't fence me in Let me ride through the wide open country that I love, Don't fence me in. Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze, And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees, Send me off forever, but I ask you please, Don't fence me in. Just turn me loose, let me straddle my old saddle Underneath the western skies, On my Cayuse, let me wander over yonder Till I see the mountains rise Ba boo ba ba boo. I want to ride to the ridge where the west commences, And gaze at the moon till I lose my senses, and I can't look at hobbles and I can't stand fences, Don't fence me in, No Poppa, don't you fence me in.

You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donder and Blitzen, But do you recall The most famous reindeer of all?Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Had a very shiny nose, And if you ever saw it, You would even say it glows. All of the other reindeer Used to laugh and call him names; They never let poor Rudolph Join in any reindeer games. Then one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say: "Rudolph, with your nose so bright, Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?" Then how the reindeer loved him, As they shouted out with glee, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, You'll go down in history
'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse All the stockings were hung by the chimney with care In the hope that Saint Nicholas soon would be there
Then what to my wondering eyes should appear A miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer A little old driver so lively and quick I knew in a moment it must be Saint Nick
And more rapid than eagles, his reindeer all came As he shouted on Dasher and each reindeer's name
And so up to the housetop the reindeer soon flew With the sleigh full of toys and Saint Nicholas, too Down the chimney he came with a leap and a bound He was dressed all in fur and his belly was round
He spoke not a word but went straight to his work And filled all the stocking then turned with a jerk And laying his finger aside of his nose Then giving a nod up the chimney he rose
But I heard him exclaim where he drove out of sight "Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night"
