When will you be home?" she asks
As we watch the planes take off We both know we have no clear answer To where my dreams may lead She's watched me as I crawled and stumbled As a child, she was my world And now to let me go, I know she bleeds And yet she says to me You can fly so high Keep your gaze upon the sky I'll be praying every step along the way Even though it breaks my heart to know we'll be so far apart I love you too much to make you stay Baby fly away Autumn leaves fell into spring time and Silver-painted hair Daddy called one evening saying "We need you. Please come back" When I saw her laying in her bed Fragile as a child Pale just like an angel taking flight I held her as I cried You can fly so high Keep your gaze upon the sky I'll be praying every step along the way Even though it breaks my heart to know we'll be so far apart I love you too much to make you stay Baby fly away |

I'm looking out the window where we sat to watch the stars
There's a chill within the air, it makes my heart long for your touch You may be miles away But as I kneel to pray I see the same side of the moon That we'll looking on when the world turns blue And know that time and space can't come between me and you We share the same side of the moon And though you'll never see all my tears shine through I know I'll never be that far from you If we're both looking on the same side of the moon I picture you across the ocean, in your corner of the world I pray the wind will blow my voice and gently whisper in your ear Your night may be my day And though the seasons change It's still the same side of the moon That we'll be looking on when the world turns blue And know that time and space can't come between me and you We share the same side of the moon And though you'll never see all my tears shine through I know I can't be that far from you If we're both looking on the same side of the moon I know I can't be that far from you If we're both looking on the same side of the moon |

Don't know what you do to me but
Everytime I'm with you it's a natural high It's like re-discovering Eden With chocolate-coated rainbows and cotton candy skies And everytime you look my way I wish I had the guts to say There's something in your eyes Something in your smile Something in the way you move me You make me want to sing Make me want to dance Make me want to cry I'm falling in love with you. I think I'll hire Cupid He'll make you see I'm more than your friend You'll be tossing and turning Counting the hours till you see me again And when we meet you'll Kiss my hand and say the words I've longed to hear There's something in your eyes Something in your smile Something in the way you move me You make me want to sing Make me want to dance Make me want to cry I'm falling in love with you You make me want to sing, Make me want to dance Make me want to cry I'm falling in love with you |

On winter days the snow would glisten
Like a sea of diamonds in the sun All bundled up in hat and mittens I'd be out the door and on the run To the meadow my place Beneath branches of icy lace Arms held out eyes shut closed I'd lean back and just let go And I would Fall to Fly A snow white angel I'd spread my wings to the sky How I'd glide But soon I craved the city lights They seemed far brighter than the moon on snow Turned in my wings for earthly things Forgot the feel of clouds on indigo I was strong, I was proud Keeping both feet on the ground I feared love like I feared heights I just didn't realise That I can Fall to Fly A snow white angel I spread my wings to the sky Yes I can Fall to Fly 'cause now you've come along Like falling snow at dawn You move me And with you by my side We'll soar We will climb straight to the heaven's skies Yes I can Fall to Fly A snow white angel I spread my wings to the sky Yes I can Fall to Fly 'cause now I'm gonna give love a try Fall to fly On winter days I wait for snow and then I know the angel flies once more Fall to Fly Fall to Fly |

If every drop of water disappeared from the land
And every drop of ocean suddenly turned to sand That would all be nothing Compared to what I'd feel If you didn't love me What if I woke up and couldn't hear a sound And all that I could see was darkness all around That would all be nothing Compared to what I'd feel If you didn't love me If I could have the world and all that money could buy And I could travel far beyond the moon and the day If they gave me golden wings, well I still couldn't fly without you, nothing would matter You and I walk beside each other day after day But there's so much inside me, I never get to say My life would be so empty with nothing left to feel If you didn't love me If you didn't love me |

I'm sorry that I hurt you
I took for granted all you gave So freely to me I pray it's not too late To save you from a broken heart To promise you I'll make a brand new start Believe me, when I say You are all that I need The only treasure I seek You're the air that helps me breathe Through the darkest night when I fall down on my knees I was blind but now I see You are all that I need You know I'm far from perfect Like a child that needs a guiding hand Can you stay here with me? I finally understand You've always been the missing part Complete the jigsaw puzzle of my heart Please hear me, when I say You are all that I need The only treasure I seek You're the air that helps me breathe Through the darkest night when I fall down on my knees I was blind but now I see You are all that I need Please, let me hear your voice again Let me hear you say Your love will never end That whatever it takes you'll be there Believe me, when I say You are all that I need The only treasure I seek You're the air that helps me breathe Through the darkest night when I fall down on my knees I was blind but now I see You are all that I need You are all that I need |

Hey girl, what is the matter?
You're crying your heart out again Don't lie, girl This was not some accident Your bruises, they give you away Your face sighs in shades of blue purple Your eyes tell a story of pain Walk away You're worth more Than he'll ever realise Baby walk away Spare yourself this pain Can't you see that he's not worth it? You're not meant to be treated this way Baby walk away You say that You really love him You say that he'll know this someday But your face still sighs in blue purple Your eyes tell a story of shame Walk away You're worth more Than he'll ever realise Baby walk away Spare yourself this pain Can't you see that he's not worth it? You've been waiting for his love for so many years Well, girl You may not live to see that day Baby walk away You're not meant to be treated this way Baby walk away Baby walk away Baby walk away |

Bare feet tickled by the powdery sand
Pressing footprints along the shore A vain attempt to leave a testament That I walked this path before Will you remember Will you remember me My face on the water Wrinkles with the tide And vanishes from the ocean's silver screen Like stars sprinkled in the sky Forgotten when the sun appears Will you remember Will you remember Wide-eyed wanderer Search no longer The light burns bright in you So I'll leave this kiss wet on your face My first born son And pray the wind won't ever blow it dry I'm sure Jesus had the notion When it came His time to die Will you remember Will you remember me Will you remember Will you remember me |

It's a long, long journey
'Til I know where I'm supposed to be It's a long, long journey And I don't know if I can believe When shadows fall and block my eyes I am lost and know that I must hide It's a long, long journey 'Til I find my way home to you Many days I've spent Drifting on through empty shores Wondering what's my purpose Wondering how to make me strong I know I will falter, I know I will cry I know you'll be standing by my side It's a long, long journey And I need to be close to you Sometimes it seems no one understands I don't even know why I do the things I do When pride builds me up 'til I can't see my soul Will you break down these walls and pull me through? 'Cause it's a long, long journey 'Til I feel that I am worth the price you paid for me on calvary Beneath those stormy skies When Satan mocks and friends turn to foes It feels like everything is out to make me lose control It's a long, long journey 'Til I find my way home to you |

Sometimes I wonder what lies ahead
How long till my hunger is fed They say it's hard to make it in this part of town So many people on this merry-go-round Some folks try astrology Some turn to crystal balls To find an answer To get through it all I just fall on my knees and I try to pray In the silence I can hear Him say The river runs and the river hides Out to the ocean and under the sky I promise you, the answer will come Hold on to patience and watch for the sign Everything in its time I often feel like I'm two steps behind Somebody must have moved that finish line There are a thousand reasons Why I should give up But I'm stubborn in the things I believe The river runs and the river hides Out to the ocean and under the sky I promise you, the answer will come Hold on to patience and watch for the sign 'cause maybe there's another plan One I still can't see A little surprise, like your love in my life Funny how time changes how we see The river runs and the river hides Out to the ocean and under the sky I promise you, the answer will come Hold on to patience and watch for the sign Everything in its time Everything in its time |

I try to keep my cool. Oh but one more door gets in my way I feel like such a fool Trampled and bitter, My heart just wants to bleed and stop Believing in me. It feels like nothing is for certain and that nothing comes for free When they're lowering the curtain to the theatre of my dreams I stumble and i crumble and I'm sinking to my knees for you You cradle me You keep me flying You keep me smiling You keep me safe in a crazy world You understand me Embrace my fragility You keep me safe in a crazy world And in your arms I find the strength to believe in me again Noise keeps chasing me No matter where I go Oh and life likes pretending that it's on a TV show When it's hard to tell what's real From what the world just wants to preach You are the voice I seek You keep me flying You keep me smiling You keep me safe in a crazy world You understand me Embrace my fragility You keep me safe in a crazy world And in your arms I find the strength to believe in me again 'cause when I'm wrapped up in your arms Nothing else can touch me What a wonderful way to recharge I feel like I can breathe again You keep me flying You keep me smiling You keep me safe in a crazy world You understand me Embrace my fragility You keep me safe in a crazy world And in your arms I find the strength to believe in me again |

I think we've been here before
I recognize this place I've seen the marks of confusion wipe out a single sign of grace And I don't want to play anymore Not when the stakes are so high So before we circle round once more I'm gonna lay down, Lay down my pride Let it go, let it be Don't waste all your emotion on this tit-for-tat machine Let it go, let it be Let it go I turn on the TV and it screams out at me Nothing seems to have changed since the start of Adam and Eve So we're waiting for the sky to fall and we're buying brand new toys But before we circle round once more Can we lay down Just lay down this pride Let it go, let it be Don't waste all your emotion on this tit-for-tat machine Let it go, let it be Let it go Don't go wasting your emotions No one wins if we keep score Let it go, let it be Let it go |

I woke up this morning feeling kind of blue
and I stumbled out of bed and dragged my feet across the room Right outside my front door was a rose and a note that said 'Somebody Loves You' Oh~ But out on the street it starts to pour and before I get soaking wet, A total stranger runs to give me the jacket off his back I turn around to thank him But he waves me with a smile And I can hardly believe my eyes He puts on a halo and starts to fly Take a look at the ordinary Don't need to look for Paradise You could be next to an angel in disguise I met a good friend for lunch and we had a delicious meal But I forgot to bring my wallet I felt like an imbecile But she was sweet, she gave me a treat and Bought me a chicken sandwich To take home for tea Oh~ But out on the street with nothing to eat A man and his shopping cart go Travelling to places Collecting social graces I give him my sandwich and we chatter for a while I see a rainbow wash over his eyes He gives me his halo and I start to fly Take a look at the ordinary Don't need to look for Paradise You could be next to an angel in disguise Don't try to hide away from me I know you're by my side Oooh~~ Take a look at the ordinary Don't need to look at Paradise You could be next to an angel in disguise Everyday can be legendary Every minute, an endless surprise You could be the next angel in disguise I woke up this morning Feeling kind of new |

That's creeping up upon your face It's just a part of nature's way to say you've grown a little more Trees have rings and thicker branches Kids shoes get a little tighter Every year we're getting closer to who we're gonna be It's time to celebrate the story of how you've come to be Happy Birthday, my friend Here's to all the years we've shared together All the fun we've had You're such a blessing Such a joy in my life May the good Lord bless you And may all your dreams come true So light a candle on your cake For every smile you've helped create For every heart and every soul you've helped to grow A little more A few more pounds, a little more grey Don't count the years, just count the way It takes a little time to go from water into wine Don't ever lose the wonder of that child within your eyes Happy Birthday, my friend Here's to all the years we've shared together All the fun we've had You're such a blessing Such a joy in my life May the good Lord bless you And may all your dreams come true |

A little boy of thirteen was on his way to school
He heard a crowd of people laughing and he went to take a look Thousands were listening to the stories of one man He spoke with such wisdom, even the kids could understand The hours passed so quickly, the day turned to night Everyone was hungry but there was no food in sight The boy looked in his lunchbox at the little that he had He wasn't sure what good it'd do, there were thousands to be fed But he saw the twinkling eyes of Jesus The kindness in His smile And the boy cried out With the trust of a child he said: "Take my five loaves and two fishes Do with it as you will I surrender Take my fears and my inhibitions All my burdens, my ambitions You can use it all to feed them all" I often think about that boy when I'm feeling small And I worry that the work I do means nothing at all But every single tear I cry is a diamond in His hands And every door that slams in my face, I will offer up in prayer So I'll give you every breath that I have Oh Lord, you can work miracles All that you need is my "Amen" So take my five loaves and two fishes Do with it as you will I surrender Take my fears and my inhibitions All my burdens, my ambitions You can use it all I hope it's not too small I trust in you I trust in you So take my five loaves and two fishes Do with it as you will I surrender Take my fears and my inhibitions All my burdens, my ambitions You can use it all No gift is too small |

Just want to hide away Close my eyes to your gaze Just want to leave Don't want to hear them say "You're no good at this" When the world swirls with naysayers Broken wings and torn pages The road ahead Drowning in my tears Break me open Tear me down Into pieces Broken crumbs On the ground You can mould and shape me In your image Breathe your life You know I need it Scars make us stronger for life Losing myself Gaining it back again Forging strength from weakness All that I am All that I'm meant to be Melting in your hand Let the world swirl with naysayers Pickled hearts and sour faces What is real is what I cannot see Break me open Tear me down Into pieces Broken crumbs On the ground You can mould and shape me In your image Breathe your life You know I need it Scars make us stronger for life Cut away All within me That won't bear fruit Cut away All within me Cut away All within me That won't bear fruit Cut away All within me Break me open Tear me down Into pieces Broken crumbs On the ground You can mould and shape me In your image Breathe your life You know I need it Scars make us stronger Scars make us stronger for life |

So you say life is unfair
She's got everything you wanted And you're not even close To getting where you wish you could be You want to get the commendation Love and adulation But you're stuck here on your knees Are you happy, green eyed monster? Are you happy with your place? What's the use of being haunted? Your story for glory Is right there in your face So be glad You're an architect creation You're one of a kind Just stay on track Because every cross can be a blessing All the gifts that you've been given Close your eyes and listen To who you're meant to be Are you happy, green eyed monster? Are you happy with your place? What's the use of being haunted? Your story for glory Is right there in your face Don't feed the monster Wasting time comparing Lose yourself despairing I hear it, don't ya? Hungry for our fight Are you happy? Are you happy, green eyed monster? Are you happy with your place? What's the use of being haunted? Your story for glory Is right there in your face Right there in your face Right there in your face |

I’m far away from what I’ve known
And there’s static on the radio Just a girl in a car on a lonely highway I’ve been up and down this winding road It’s getting dark, the stores are closed The map is wrinkled, my coffee’s turned to grey But I’m on my way, I’m on my way There seems to be no end in sight But I know I’ll be alright ‘Cos I’m on my way, I’m on my way Sweet embrace, I’m on my way So many beat-up cars on this dirt road I see them sputter and start to choke How many miles must I go till I rest in your grace I feel like giving up and letting go Let the world invade my mind, my soul Will this road make me, a sinner or a saint But I’m on my way, I’m on my way There seems to be no end in sight But I know I’ll be alright ‘Cos I’m on my way, I’m on my way Don’t give up on me, I’m on my way I can picture your smiling face Your arms stretched to hold me Waiting there by the gate If I ever get lost I know that you’ll find me There’s a cross on a hill saying “Do not be afraid.” I’m on my way If I keep you in my sight I know I’ll be alright 'Cus I’m on my way, I’m on my way There seems to be no end in sight But I know I’ll be alright ‘Cos I’m on my way, I’m on my way Don’t give up on me, I’m on my way |

Feels like a milestone
Being in my 30 Friends become mothers and fathers With little ones of their own So and so's a doctor A lawyer and accountant So and so's got married They've got a lifetime ahead A beautiful lifetime ahead CHORUS 33, the age that You died for me Now here I am at 33 33, You crowned it with Your life upon a tree The mystery of Your love for me We could have been schoolmates Studying together We could have had tea and scones And talked about our day You walk this path before me Living close to guide me You're thirsting for someone To show a little care You've hidden in faces everywhere CHORUS BRIDGE Everyone start a song to sing It doesn't matter how sure it'd long Just let each note ring So long as we're in this key CHORUS 33, the age that You died for me Now here I am at 33 33, You crowned it with Your life to set me free The mystery of Your love The mystery of Your love for me |

What's wrong, what's getting you down?
Was it something I might have said? You're walking around with your head to the ground And your eyes are watery red I know you've been through tough times Kicked around, thrown to the ground But you've always been the strong one So don't tell me that nobody gets you 'Cause I'm standing in your corner Knocking at your door You don't have to be alone Just call my name, let me be an answer 'Cause it hurts me to see you this way I wanna ease your pain, help me understand Let me be your shelter my friend We share a bond, you and I, we belong We're like coffee and morning trains You strip my defenses, I catch your pretenses The same blood runs through our veins I swore I'd be your lifeline, made a vow That I'd surround you with love at every milestone I'll listen when nobody gets you I'm still standing in your corner Knocking at your door You don't have to be alone Just call my name, let me be an answer 'Cause it hurts me to see you this way I wanna ease your pain, help me understand Let me be your shelter my friend It was not too long ago You sought to understand You helped me mend Remember when So promise me you'll call my name Let me be an answer 'Cause it hurts me to see you this way I wanna ease your pain, help me understand Let me be your shelter my friend |

In the twinkling stars that dance like fireflies
In the blushing fruit that hangs upon the vine In the face of a baby as he forms his first smile I see you In the whisper of the wind's soft lullaby In the laughter and the roar of the rushing tide In the song of a sparrow as he takes his first flight I hear you Why do you hide among the nameless and forgotten Why do you walk along these long forsaken roads Calling to me in the hungry and the homeless Calling me to water your thirst So I'll give you my heart and my song In a world where so much is right But so much is wrong Your love is my beginning and I know it won't be too long Till I see you |
