There you see her Sitting there across the way
She don’t got a lot to say But there’s something about her And you don’t know why But you’re dying to try You wanna kiss the girl Yes, you want her Look at her, you know you do Possible she wants you to There is one way to ask her It don’t take a word Not a single word Go on and kiss the girl Sha la la la la la, my oh my Look like the boy too shy Ain’t gonna kiss the girl Sha la la la la la, ain’t that sad Ain’t it a shame, too bad He gonna miss the girl Now’s your moment Floating in a blue lagoon Boy, you better do it soon No time will be better She don’t say a word And she won’t say a word Until you kiss the girl Sha la la la la la, don’t be scared You got the mood prepared Go on and kiss the girl Sha la la la la la, don’t stop now Don’t try to hide it How you wanna kiss the girl Sha la la la la la, float along And listen to the song The song say kiss the girl Sha la la la la la, the music play Do what the music say You gotta kiss the girl You’ve gotta kiss the girl You wanna kiss the girl You’ve gotta kiss the girl Go on and kiss the girl |

Look at this stuff
Isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think my collection's complete? Wouldn't you think I'm the girl The girl who has everything? Look at this trove Treasures untold How many wonders can one cavern hold? Looking around here you'd think, Sure, she's got everything I've got gadgets and gizmo's a-plenty I've got whozits and whatzits galore You want thingamabobs? I've got 20. But who cares? No big deal. I want more.... I wanna be where the people are I wanna see Wanna see 'em dancing Walking around on those What do you call 'em? oh, feet! Flipping your fins you don't get to far Legs are required for jumping, dancing strolling along down the What's that word again? street Oh, Up where they walk Up where they run Up where they stay all day in the sun Wandering free Wish I could be Part of that world What would I give If I could live Out of these waters? What would I pay To spend a day Warm on the sand? Bet'cha on land They understand that they don't reprimend their daughters Bright young women Sick of swimming Ready to stand And I'm ready to know what the people know Ask 'em my questions and get some answers What's a fire and why does it What's the word? burn When's it my turn? Wouldn't I love Love to explore the shore up above? Out of the sea Wish I could be Part of that world Out of the sea Wish I could be Part of your world |

I admit that in the past I've been a nasty
They weren't kidding when they called me kinda strange But you'll find that nowadays I've mended all my ways Repented, seen the light and made a change And I fortunately know a little secret It's a talent that I always have possessed And here lately, please don't laugh I use it on behalf Of the miserable, the lonely and depressed Pathetic Poor unfortunate souls In pain, in need This one longing to be thinner This one wants to get the girl And do I help them? Yes, indeed Those poor unfortunate souls So sad, so true They coming flocking to me crying Will you help us, pretty please? And I help them Yes, I do The men up there don't like a lot of blabber They think a girl who gossips is a bore Yes, on land it's much preferred For ladies not to say a word And after all, dear What is idle prattle for? They're not all that impressed with conversation True gentlemen avoid it when they can But they dote and swoon and fawn On ladies who've withdrawn It's she who holds her tongue who gets her man Poor unfortunate souls Go ahead, make your choice I'm a very busy person and I haven't got all day It won't cost much Just your voice Those poor unfortunate souls So sad, so true If you want to cross the bridge, my sweet You've got to pay the toll Take a gulp, take a breath Go ahead and sign the scroll Nick and Kevin, now I got her boys The boss is on a roll Poor unfortunate souls In pain, in need This one longing to be thinner This one wants to get the girl And do I help them? Yes, indeed Those poor unfortunate souls So sad, so true They come flocking to me crying Will you help us, pretty please? And I help them Yes, I do Those poor unfortunate souls |

"Ha ha, we, my friends, the day we have waited for may be at hand"
"Oh, if only that were true, Lumiere" "Aah, human again" "Human again" "Yes, think what that means" I'll be cooking again, be good-looking again With a mademoiselle on each arm When I'm human again, only human again Poised and polished and gleaming with charm I'll be courting again, chic and sporting again Which should cause several husband's alarm I'll hop down off the shelf and toute suite be myself I can't wait to be human again When we're human again, only human again When we're knickknacks and whatnot's no more Little push, little shove, they could, whoosh fall in love Ah, Cherie, won't it all be top-drawer? I'll wear lipstick and rouge and I won't be so huge Why, I'll easily fit through that door I'll exude savior-faire, I'll wear gowns, I'll have hair It's my prayer to be human again When I'm human again, only human again When the world once more starts making sense I'll unwind for a change, really? That'd be strange Can I help it if I'm t-t-tense? In a shack by the sea, I'll sit back sipping tea Let my early retirement commence Far from fools made of wax, I'll get down to brass tacks and relax When I'm human again So sweep the dust from the floor Let's let some light in the room I can feel, I can tell Someone might break the spell any day now Shine up the brass on the door Alert the dustpail and broom If we all goes as planned Our time may be at hand any day now Open the shutters and let in some air Put these here and put those over there Sweep up the years of sadness and tears And throw them away When Guinevere heard that Arthur was slain She stole away to a convent And no one could ever make her smile again The end "What a beautiful story!" "Oh, I knew you would like it" "I would like to ask you for something" "What's that?" "A second chance" "Would you have dinner with me tonight?" "Dinner? Me? With you?" "Well, that would be, I mean, oh, yes" When we're human again, only human again When the girl finally sets us all free Cheeks a-bloomin' again, we're assumin' again We'll resume our long lost joie de vivre We'll be playin' again, holiday' again And we're prayin' it's A S A P When we cast off this pall We'll stand straight, we'll walk tall When we're all that we were Thanks to him, thanks to her Coming closer and closer and closer We'll be dancing again, we'll be twirling again We'll be whirling around with such ease When we're human again, only human again We'll go waltzing those old one-two-three's We'll be floating again, we'll be gliding again Stepping, striding as fine as you please Like the real human does, I'll be all that I was On that glorious morn' when we're finally reborn And we're all of us human again |

I can show you the world
Shining, shimmering, splendid Tell me, princess, now when did You last let your heart decide I can open your eyes Take you wonder by wonder Over, sideways and under On a magic carpet ride A whole new world A new fantastic point of view No one to tell us no Or where to go Or say we're only dreaming A whole new world A dazzling place I never knew But, now, from way up here It's crystal clear That now I'm in a whole new world with you Unbelievable sights Indescribable feeling Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling Through an endless diamond sky A whole new world (Don't you dare close your eyes) A hundred thousand things to see (Hold your breath - it gets better) I'm like a shooting star I've come so far I can't go back to where I used to be A whole new world With new horizons to pursue I'll chase them anywhere There's time to spare Let me share this whole new world with you A whole new world (Every turn a surprise) With new horizons to pursue (Every moment, red-letter) I'll chase them anywhere There's time to spare Anywhere, there's time to spare Let me share this whole new world with you A whole new world That's where we'll be A thrilling chase A wondrous place For you and me |

Shrieks of Sheikhs as they run across the movie screen
A thousand sand-dune soldiers led by an Arabian Queen And the harem girls move like fancy (Clancy's) dancers In my dirty drea And I wake up on the floor clutching the bed-lamp And Mama comes in, she screams "Hey you been out with that tramp again last night You know that silver-sequined Arab black bitch The one that Mama don't like ?" But Mama she sings me moontime melodies With this great Top 40 hook She shrugs her shoulders, she don't care Papa just stares and says "Mary, look the girl's alright The girl's alright" And there's a tenseness in the air He turns and says Don't you know, can't you feel it "Tell me son, what's the word ?" Because there's something hanging there 'Cos you know he can't hear it Pull back the mist and reveal it But don't go near it And even if you fear waht you near It's criticised as too absurd Don't conceal it Even the animals fear it 'Cos if what Mama feels is too real Papa says "Fetch me my flashlight, son" She just claims she don't feel it And she stumbles out the front door So come out from behind your bunkers 'Cos the lift-off's been a bust Oh Papa's Gone and Mama's dead And buried in my rocket dust You're alone now for the first time Don't worry, 'cos that's all right All fear will complete;y disappear Come the Arabian Night Well the soundman smiles and turns the dials To set the meter readin' rising He pulls the singer's voice from out of his pocket To see if the audience likes it Oh and in the very first row sits sweet Jenny Rue With a bell on her shoe and she wants him to make it He flicks a switch but Jenny moves too fast And the audience sways to the sound of her shotgun blast The manager comes running out from behind stage and says Check the band's arms for bullet holes Make that man roll up his sleeves" The drummer shoots himself with cyanide And then asks to be relieved And me, I say "Well, it's too crazy in here Which is the stage door out, I gotta get up tomorrow morning for work" And the promotor says "Man, once you're in they all lead out What's the matter man, ain't you heard ? There's a war going on on the outside And I'm p So get in and get tough or get up and get out Because things aren't too tight" I said "Don't worry, man, everything's gonna loosen up Come the Arabian Night" Come the Arabian Night So I get back in my bed But outside my window I hear another gang fight It's Duke and the boys against the Devil's best man And both sides have drawn their knives And Duke he's a well-known knife-fighter And with one quick jab he brings the Devil down He smiles 'cos he knows there's a high bounty on Devils In any God-fearin' town Well they say Duke sold the Devil to some priest in Pennsylvania To exhibit on his altar Christmas Night But the Devil's eyes they still burn red with fire As long as Duke walks upright And he swears there's a going to be a showdown Come sundown on the Arabian Night Oh on the Arabian Night |

Little town, it's a quiet village Every day, like the one before Little town, full of little people waking up to say...
Bonjour- There goes the baker with his tray like always the same old bread and rolls to sell Every morning just the same Since the morning that we came To this poor provincial town... Good morning, Belle! Morning monsierur ! Where are you off to? The bookshop! I just finished the most wonderfulrstory, about a beanstalk and an ogre and... That's nice...Marie, the baguettes! Hurry up !! Look there she goes, that girl is strange no question Dazed and istracted, can't you tell? Never part of any crowd cause her head's up on some cloud No denying she's a funny girl, that Belle! Bonjour! Good day! How is your family? Bonjour! Good day! How is your wife? I need six eggs! That's too expensive! there must be more than this provincial life! Ah, Belle! Good morning.I've come to return the book I borrowed. Finished already? Oh, I couldn't put it down! Have you got anything new? Now since yesterday. That's all right. I'll borrow... this one. That one? But you've read it twice! Well it's my favorite! Far off places, daring swordfights, magic spells, a prince in disguise! We.., if you like it all that much, it's yours! But sir! I insist! Well thank you. Thank you very much! Look there she goes that girl is so peculiar! I wonder if she's feeling well! With a dreamy far-off look! And her nose stuck in a book! What a puzzle to the rest of us is Belle! Oh! Isn't this amazing! It's my favorite part because, you'll see! Here's where she meets Prince Charming But she won't discover that it's him 'til chaper three! from Beauty And The Beast (미녀와 야수) [ost] (1994)
Once upon a time, in a far away land A young prince lived in a shining castle Although he had everything his heart desired The prince was spoiled, selfish and unkind But then, one winter's night An old beggar woman came to the castle And offered him a single rose in return for shelter from the bitter cold Repulsed by her haggered appearence The prince sneered at the gift and turned the old woman away But she warned him not to be deceived by appearences For beauty is found within And when he dismissed her again The old woman's ugliness melted away To reveal a beautiful enchantress The prince tried to apologize, but it was too late For she had seen that there was no love in his heart And as punishment, she transformed him into a hideous beast and placed a powerful spell on the castle and all who lived there Ashamed of his monsterous form The beast concealed himself inside his castle With a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world The rose she had offered was truly an enchanted rose Which would bloom until his 21st year If he could learn to love another And earn their love in return by the time the last petal fell Then, the spell would be broken If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time As the years passed, he fell into despair And lost all hope For who could ever learn to love a beast
