For me, songwriting is representing and transforming personal moments of emotion to sound. Hence, releasing an album is leaving a legacy as I’ll always be able to look back and embrace all that used to be. ‘Stray’ is about the blinding moments in life when I simply felt lost. Even with music connecting unforeseen bridges, which I’m incredibly grateful for, I still felt lost. This song is about accepting the insecurity and unknown. Would I go back in time for these moments? Heck no, but they did make who I am today.
