"The Virtue“
‘Embrace' refers to taking care of his or her feelings and thoughts beyond giving actual hug. Giving a hug is form of putting arms around one another and holding each other closely which reveals the intimacy and depth of the relationship with each other. From the child's act of hugging, kissing, and cheek to cheek hugging to a mother giving kisses to their child expresses and shows all the love. It is so naturally done without any pressure that it is honest and sincere.
As we face each other closely, we hear each other's breath, share warmth, and have a deeper connection that words can not express. When the unconcealed warmth is passed on to each other, we have a sense of relief and comfort.
This does not require any teaching and does not seek a set time. This act, which naturally appears to us, is already filled with the act of love belonging to God's character. The divine power of Him who called us and brought us to sharing His glory through the love of the cross adds more faith to our faith. Sometimes I rather want to stay alone because of the thoughts that I am not good enough, however, that’s when God touches my heart softly with His will.
When I quietly meditate His Word, the knowledge of the faith and the Word is increased in me brings changes in my character. Once again, God who have already called me as His own reminds me that I have grown up as the character of my Father God. As I become aware of everything that belongs to my Father's character, I am able to see and appreciate all that I need to truly embrace beyond just the act of hugging people. It is our Father's gift for us that we can understand each other's lives and put them together to live in harmony.
The touch of hand-to hand and heart to heart will make us feel and embrace each other and eventually bear the fruit of love the Father has spoken. In order to harvest these fruits, I will first go to the Father and pray for everything that belongs to the character of God in my heart.
