When we moved from the east coast to the west, we wanted to prove to ourselves and our fans that we were committed to our craft. Despite the glorious weather conditions, this was less of a vacation an
d more of a ‘re-boot’ camp. Living in close proximity to our management and frequent collaborators allowed us to create full-fledged series like BOOM BAP, convert new believers at the many live shows, and most importantly, put out some of our best music yet, complete with visuals.
As we approach the one year mark, we want to celebrate by dropping The Rollout mixtape and making the music available to our fans, the OXGANG.
The production on this mixtape consists of the usual suspects, as well as up and coming producers we connected with on the west coast and online. Our foundation will always be in our Boom-Bap roots. But we do enjoy challenging ourselves sonically and hope that reflects in The Rollout. ....
