[곡소개]
죽음에 직면했을 때, 인간은 살아온 세월의 기억이 ‘주마등’처럼 빠르게 스쳐 지나간다고 말합니다. 현재를 살고있는 우리가 만약 죽음을 마주하여 돌이켜 본다면, ‘쫓기듯 앞만 보고 살아 온 것은 아닐까’ 하는 생각에서 비롯된 곡으로 함께 음악을 즐기며 삶에 대한 여러 감정과 고민들을 관객들과 공감하고 싶었습니다. 우리 음악의 장단을 기반으로 시나위의 즉흥적 요소와 12가사 중 백구사의 노랫말을 결합하여 작사한 노랫말을 더해 현대적 감성으로 엮어 냈습니다. 파노라마 같은 인생을 돌이켜보며 우리는 어떤 생각을 하면서 살고 있는지에 대한 질문을 담아 보았습니다.
[ Music Introduction ]
"A Revolving Lantern" Human beings say that the memories of their years pass by like a "revolving lantern," when faced with death. This is inspired by the thought that if we look back on our present life facing death, we must have regret if we have been running after, looking forward. This contains the wish that audiences could enjoy music and share with various feelings and concerns about life that Ensemble Floun expresses in their music. They combined rhythmic patterns of the traditional music, the improvisational elements of sinawi, and the lyrics of the gasa (classical vocal music) "Baekgusa", then adding modern sensibilities. They contain their questions and thoughts on the life, looking back on panoramic lives.

앙상블플로운
우리 음악의 음계와 창법 안에서 대중과의 교감과 공감을 추구하는 앙상블로, 플로운(FLOUN)은 ‘흐르다’의 의미인 Flow와 오운(五雲)의 합성어로 ‘다섯 구름이 흐르다’라는 뜻을 가지고 있습니다. 다섯 구름, 즉 오운(五雲)은 한국의 오음음계를 의미하며 우리음악이 끊임없이 미래로 흐르길 바라는 마음을 담아 연주활동을 하고 있습니다.
