이번 싱글 For The Record 는 Therapy 에 이어서 세련된 어반/R&B 발라드로 소피야만의 매력과 색깔을 다시 한번 느껴볼수 있는 곡이다.

이전 싱글 'Over You' 이후로 다시한번 Got7, Sistar 작곡가인 Distract (디스트랙트) 와 팀업해 세련된 사운드를 완성해냈다.
떠나간 남자의 기억에 감겨 빠져나오지 못하는 가사의 내용처럼 몽환적인 편곡과 소피야의 부드러운 목소리가 휘감기듯 흘러 나온다.
이런 정서를 뮤직비디오에서도 LED등을 활용해 자연스럽게 담아내고 있다.

Feeline Music (필라인뮤직) 은 Sophiya 와 Distract 가 새롭게 설립한 레이블로,
