INTRODUCTION
이름만큼이나 모타운의 드문 사이키델릭 록밴드인 Rare Earth의 활동 전반기앨범을 모은 지포라이터 모양의 박스셋트 [Fill Your Head: The Studio Albums 1969-1974] [3CD Box Set]!!! 67년 디트로이트에서 결성된 이들의 시작은 R&B밴드 Sunliners였으나 Verve 계약에 앞서 밴드명을 Rare E arth으로 바꾸고 사이키델릭 록밴드로 변신, 록의 르네상스시대에 합류해 미국밴드로서의 자존심을 지켰다. 이번 박스에는 21분에 달하는 이들의 명 연주가 담긴 대표곡 'Get Ready'를 필두로 70년 모타운을 통해 발표한 소울록 넘버 'Born to Wander' 비틀즈의 클래시컬 록 데표곡을 커버한 'Eleanor Rigby' 모타운의 블랙뮤직 하모닉을 추구했던 초창기 곡 'Generation (Light Up the Sky)' Dave Mason의 불후의 명곡을 커버한 'Feelin' Alright' 73년에 발표했던 소울/사이키델릭 록의 진수 'Ma'등 총 43곡 수록! ....  ....
