INTRODUCTION
70년대 초반 Soul 뮤직은 새로운 장을 열어 갔다. Curtis Mayfield, Sly Stone, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Isaac Hayes, Bobby Warmack, Donny Hathaway 그리고 Stevie Wonder까지 정제된 사회적 의식이 가득 들어찬 송가들을 만들어 내고 있었다. 그 동안 필라델피아에서는 이 분야의 대표적인 수뇌 Gamble-Huff 콤비는 본작을 제작하며 우리들의 시각을 한층 업그레이드 시켜 주었다. 전쟁에 의해 분단된 나라, 계급과 인종 등을 말하고 있으며 그와 동시에 잊혀지지 않는 노랫말과 함께 Gamble-Huff콤비는 우리들이 춤을 추며 생각하게끔 만들어 준다.
