이 곡의 원곡은 19세기 프랑스의 캐롤인 "O Holy Night" (원제: "Minuit Chréstiens!")으로 작곡200주년을 기념하여 작곡가이자 프로듀서인 이새론이 21세기 포스트-모던 풍으로 재구성하었다.
 
한 밤의 크리스마스를 경사롭게, 하지만 부담스럽지 않게 표현함으로 절제된 숭고함이 드러나는 이 곡은, 소비와 화려함만을 추구하는 이 시대의 크리스마스에 일침을 가하는 듯하다.
