박종현 요셉의 첫 번째 정규 앨범 [Sing Hallelujah]
“내 마음 다하여 당신을 찬양합니다” (시편 138,)
싱어송라이터 ‘박종현’의 첫 번째 정규 앨범이 출시되었다.
학창 시절 성당에서 성가대 활동을 하며 생활성가를 접하게 되었고, ‘신상옥과 형제들’의 멤버로 찬양 활동을 시작하게 된 그는 노래를 잘하지는 않지만, 연주가 아닌
목소리로 찬양을 하고 싶었다.
하지만 현실적인 삶의 중압감은 오랜 시간 기도하며 바라던 찬양의 꿈을 포기하고 싶은 마음이 커지게 하고, 세상일에 더 집중하게 하였다. 그러나 주님께서는 다양한 방법으로 찬양의 끈을 놓지 않게 하셨고, 당신이 정하신 때에 많은 조력자를 보내시어 찬양 앨범을 준비하도록 비전을 주시고, 정규 앨범을 발매하게 하셨다.
부족하지만 작사, 작곡, 편곡 등 많은 부분에 직접 참여한 이 앨범은 감사와 찬미를 주제로 한 자작곡과 더불어, 평소 즐겨 부르던 찬양 ‘감사해’와 그가 자신에게 주어진 십자가에 짓눌러 좌절하고 방황할 때 큰 위로가 되었던 김석균 작사·곡 ‘주님이 그리하실지라도’를 그의 스타일로 재해석해 함께 담았다.
그의 목소리로 하늘에 올리는 찬양을 통해 행복한 신앙의 여정이 되기를 소망한다.
